Backyard Picnic
Once the weather warms up, we like to eat outside. It's just so much fun to have lunch al fresco on our Princess table. Emily is dressed for the part in her crown. Note her attire...she is wearing pants which she has rolled up to her thighs to create shorts. She also insists on choosing two different socks each day. She calls them "unique socks" This is a girl who definitely has a mind of her own and wants to do things her own way! Chloe is enjoying her drink and loving being outdoors. Hooray Spring!

Cousins
Chloe and Emily have decorated a cardboard box to resemble a princess castle and have spent much time in it making believe they are royalty. It is a relatively small box as you can see in the picture of Chloe alone in the box. My family was over for a birthday party for Joel, and all the girl cousins (Chloe, Emily, Sarah and Emma) crammed in the castle like sardines!! What a crew of pretty princesses!!

Breakfast with Santa
Livingston-Wyoming ARC sponsored a Breakfast with Santa event. There were lots of things going on there...crafts, face painting, balloon animals and of course, seeing Santa Claus! Chloe and Emily enjoyed seeing their teachers and some other children they knew. They waited in line for balloon animals (Chloe chose a blue kitten and Emily asked for a pink mouse). After that, Chloe had a Christmas tree painted on her face and Emily chose a candy cane. Then we waited in line to see Santa. Each child got a turn sitting on Santa's lap and received a stuffed animal from Santa's helpers. Chloe and Emily both sat on Santa's lap and he reminded each of them to remember to put out cookies and milk!! It was a really fun event and we really enjoyed it.
