We're still here...

It's been way too long since I posted here.

In February we were plagued with the stomach bug... twice. Then we got colds. Joel was running for a seat on the Village Board here in Mt Morris and was busy with campaigning. I was busy working, getting stuff done at home and not paying attention to extraneous stuff.

In March, I was chosen to interview for the position of Second Deputy County Clerk. This is an appointed position and the person supervises the two DMV offices in Livingston County. I was excited to be interviewed. I did not get the position, but at this stage of my life with the girls being so little I was relieved to not have been chosen. There will be a Senior DMV Clerk position opening in October, and I'm hoping to get that postion. We'll see....

So, I hope to get back into the swing of things here. Here's a couple pictures from a Saturday that Joel took Chloe and Emily to Stony Brook State Park when I was sick with a cold. It was sunny but chilly that day. They had fun playing on the playground. The picture of them eating their snack cracks me up because they look so cute squinting into the sun.
